The road ahead, before official launch.
The first step of what is yet to come.
Websockets are already there, but they are used minimally. This update will make it so that a good chunk of actions taken will be reflected to make the web app feel live.
Web app quirks and bugs have been worked out, systems have been extensively tested, and internal storage system now operates with a backup in case of disk failure.
The "barebones" foundation. Upload, download, a file system (file storage, folders and trees, trash, favorites - and associated systems), basic link sharing, and public essential documents. Internally: Tasks, daemons and workers in the background ("associated systems"). The backbone of everything neccessary to build what this eventually will become. For now, a decent cloud drive / storage system.
Fixing some consistency and user experience issues with the frontend. Examples: while uploading, items should display correct info (queued, success, failed, ignored) and allow for re-attempts of failed items.
The barebones foundation. Upload, download, storage, directories, and basic sharing. Optimizations, safety systems, legal documents and a scheduler with workers in the background. The backbone of everything neccessary to build what this is yet to become.
Removing things, rendering things (upload progress) correctly, mostly.
Systemization and cleanup, and containing different services in the monolith to allow for a non-monolith structure
Links to files and folders, with permissions.
An async scheduler, global daemons and tasks for the file system.
The barebones. Upload, download, and folders and their contents.
